Joseph Schmitt was born in Greenville SC and lived his 20 years in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts and Georgia. He was the son of Paula and Thomas Schmitt of Vermont. He had three older brothers, Tony, Nick, and Phillip, and a younger sister, Anna. His girlfriend Jessica Vultaggio was from Concord MA and was his soul mate. Joseph passed away on January 10th, 2016. Joseph had a gift for music, a passion for the underprivileged, and an unequaled talent for sharing all the joy that his music brought to everyone in his life. From a very young age, he mostly self-taught himself guitar, drums, keyboards/piano. He had an uncanny ability to simply hear a song, then sit down and be able to play it back, merely by sound. He was incredible, and is missed terribly by his family and scores of friends. Joseph will live on in the memories of all who knew him. He was a gift to this world.
